I am now doing machine learning
There’s been a slight change in my career path.
I’m still doing general programming, and I don’t see that changing soon. But my employer Airteam was kind enough to support my transition into doing more machine learning and AI.
I recently enrolled in the machine learning nanodegree at Udacity, and it’s been quite good. Some of the material is already familiar from my computer vision research at Monash (based on which I have a journal publication), so I’m not exactly starting from zero. But it’s always good to have guided learning with some breadth and depth, and also a refresher.
So anyway, I’m going to be posting a lot about machine learning from now on.
I have some expertise in the area, and am also quite experienced with Python. If you have some needs around data science or machine learning, please get in touch with me. I’d love to help you out.
